Remote Computer Support

Hello there fellow computer user! Do you need help on your computer, but don’t want to take it into a shop and have to wait for it to be fixed? Well, you no longer have to with the tech support available from Herbaugh Network!

We offer Remote Desktop Connection for systems that are runing Windows XP through Windows 7. It only takes about 20 minutes and we are connected to your computer*.

We use a simple program called LogMeIn Hamachi.  Below you will find out all of the information you need to get remote support, and the best part is the cost: FREE!!!!  That’s right, FREE tech support for software problems. Just follow the directions below to get help:

1) You will need to download a program called LogMeIn Hamachi (tested spyware/virus free). You will download this from FileHippo.com.

2) Once that Hamachi is installed, you will need to join the network Herbaugh Remote Computer Repair.  Please make sure that Hamachi is powered on at this time. The credentials and screenshots are below:

Powered On Interface:

 

Join the network.

Enter credentials:

Network Name: Herbaugh Remote Computer Repair
Network Password: remotecomputerhelp

3) Once you are connected to the network, you will be contacted shortly after.  Be sure to message the computer: DELL-E1705-WIN7 if you are not helped after joining.

Start a chat session:

That is all it takes to get remote assistance. Any further steps that are needed will be worked out through the messaging feature of Hamachi.

After you have been helped, please be sure to leave the network by right clicking on the network and choosing Leave Network so that someone else may be offered assitance. (16 client limit)

*Approx. time; based on a DSL system. If you are on dial up or satellite internet systems, the time may take longer, and features may be limited.  Remote support works best when using DSL on both ends.
